Course
Single-lap 5k through the University of Stirling campus, starting and finishing on the grass football pitches. The route mixes grass with tarmac and gravel paths and runs around the loch, where the path narrows and can congest. There is an incline past the running track with a maximum gradient of 8%; an alternative route avoids it.

Race for Life's 5K and 10K take place on the University of Stirling campus, whose grounds include Airthrey Loch and parkland below the Ochil Hills. Participants run, jog or walk at their own pace for Cancer Research UK.
