Flat 5K out-and-back along the Neversink River, starting and finishing at the Holiday Mountain Lodge at Holiday Mountain Ski Area, Rock Hill. Certified road course with no hills and no turns other than the turnaround. Participants are released in waves.

About
The R4 is an iconic, longstanding local race in the Hudson Valley, founded by Suzy Rhulen Loughlin to benefit the American Heart Association. It now also benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, honoring her father Walter Rhulen who died of leukemia, and the Trevor Loughlin Foundation, created in memory of Suzy's son Trevor.
