Course
Run on the historic carriage roads of the Mohonk Preserve in the Shawangunk Mountains, wide and well-graded underfoot, climbing through forest and along ridgelines with long views over the Hudson Valley. The 50-mile has an 18-hour cutoff and aid stations are closely spaced; a trail marathon and 2-, 3- and 4-person relays run the same roads.

About
Set in the natural beauty of the Shawangunk Mountains of New York's Hudson Valley, an area described as "one of Earth's last great places," Rock The Ridge welcomes runners and hikers to experience the 50-mile course – either by completing the full 50-mile Ultra Marathon, the shorter, yet still challenging 26.2 mile Trail Marathon or as part of a two, three or four-person relay team. The generous 18-hour cutoff for the 50-mile course, closely spaced aid stations and incredible volunteers make this event unlike any other.
Save Rock the Ridge to your season and RunCalendar reminds you the morning entries open and before they close. Free on iPhone, no account needed.
