Held on Rottnest Island, with the marathon run as a four-lap journey around the island. Starts are staggered: 42.2km at 7:00am, 21.1km at 8:30am, 10km at 10:20am, 5km at 10:30am and the 300m under-12 dash at noon.

The Wadjemup Rottnest Running Festival is an exhilarating, scenic, and downright hilarious running event that takes place on the beautiful Rottnest Island off the coast of Western Australia. Runners can choose from a variety of distances, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a 300-meter Kids Only Quokka Dash, all while enjoying the stunning island scenery and the unique experience of running on an island that's home to the world's happiest animal, the quokka.
