Run on the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail through the Ouachita Mountains on trail and dirt road with substantial rock, roots and ruts. The terrain is consistently hilly, climbing between 100 and 200 feet per mile. The 100-miler is served by 22 manned aid stations and the 100K by 12; parts of the trail are remote.
