Course
Flat, USATF-certified point-to-point-style route through Waukesha, with the marathon covering roughly 6 miles of city streets and sidewalks and 20 miles of paved trail, including the Fox River Trail and the Glacial Drumlin Trail. The route passes through several Waukesha parks and nature sanctuaries. Marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K are offered, each also available as a ruck division, plus a walk and a free Kiddos 1K.

The Trailbreaker is Waukesha's home grown running event held annually since 1993, offering Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K distances on USATF-certified courses. Organized by the Park Foundation of Waukesha as a fundraiser for city parks, trails, and recreation, it has raised over $300,000 for community enhancements.
