Course
A ten-hour overnight timed run on a half mile lighted oval at Carson Park Fairgrounds in Paducah, Kentucky, starting at 8pm and finishing at 6am. The track is dirt topped with finely crushed limestone: flat, soft underfoot and closed to traffic, with no hills or roots. A large aid station trackside carries snacks, fruit, salty food, sandwiches and hot food, and runners can pitch tents on the infield grass.
