Course
An up-and-back course from the Expedition Island pavilion in Green River, with turnarounds at the halfway point of each distance. The first two miles are city streets and the paved Greenbelt Trail along the river before the route joins the graded dirt Wild Horse Loop Tour Road, climbing about two miles through 1st Springs Canyon and then rolling across White Mountain. Starts at 6,100 ft and tops out around 7,500 ft, with no shade once out of town.
