A five-stage desert race covering about 222 km with 2,000 m of climbing, on the edge of the Tassili n'Ajjer in the southern Sahara. The event runs from 3 to 12 December and finishes at the Djanet oasis. The field takes in competitive runners, leisure runners and endurance hikers alike.
