About
Shibamata 100K starts and finishes at Shibamata Park in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward. The out-and-back ultramarathon follows the flat Edogawa River floodplain north through Saitama and Ibaraki to a 50km turnaround point before retracing the same route. The course's minimal elevation change makes it popular with first-time ultrarunners.
