About
The Silverheels Trail Runs take place at an average elevation of over 10,000', in one of the most visually stunning areas of Colorado's Front Range. The course features a mixture of single track trails and fire roads, with a few stretches of dirt road; it takes runners through high alpine and sub-alpine meadows loaded with wild flowers, championed by expansive views of the South Park Valley and, on a clear day, at least 19 different Colorado 14ers. You'll run through ghost towns, past abandoned mines, awe at the wildflowers in full bloom, and dance under the watchful eye of Silverheels Mountain herself and the ever-stunning Milky Way Galaxy.
