Flag-off at the F1 Pit Building at 4:30am and out along the Marina Bay waterfront past Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay, through the city centre and past the Merlion, then long straight stretches east before returning to finish inside the National Stadium at Kallang. Flat throughout, with the only rises on bridges and flyovers; the heat and humidity, not the course, decide the day.
