Course
The course crosses an elegant half-mile bridge at both the start and the finish, setting off beside the Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Fleet at Deal Island Harbor. The route passes marsh creeks where osprey are common, and the beach is open afterwards for sea-glass hunting. The 5K and 10K start together at 7:30am.
