Course
A half marathon winding through the New Forest around Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe. The route is mostly flat with undulating sections, run on quick country roads, open forest, tree-lined stretches near Exbury Gardens and coastal road before returning through hedged lanes to the finish. Water stations are placed along the course.

Now in its fourth decade, the Solent Half is a half marathon road race that was originally held in autumn and now takes place in spring. It's a friendly event capped at up to 500 entries, with a course winding through the New Forest around Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe.
