Course
A lapped course at the historic Rousey Home Place near Parksville in central Kentucky, set along Carpenter Creek and Butchertown Roads. Runners and ruckers repeat the loop for a fixed time, passing their own gear each lap. Formats run from 3 hours to 24 hours, solo or in two- and four-person relays.

Located in south-central Kentucky, Southern Grit takes place in a landscape where rugged hills meet gently rolling terrain — a natural transition between the Appalachian Plateau and the Bluegrass region. Nestled in the distinctive "Knobs" region, steep wooded hills rise dramatically from fertile farmland, creating a striking and scenic backdrop. The race unfolds in the small community of Butchertown, in northern Casey County.
