Course
A 33-mile loop around Chesterfield that largely follows the waymarked Chesterfield Round Walk, taking in high moorland, ancient woodland and reservoirs on the western edges and rolling farmland and restored former mining land to the east. Mostly self-navigated by map, GPS or route notes, with the trickiest sections signed. Six checkpoints: four drinks-only, two with hot and cold food. Nine-hour limit, finishing at the community resource centre.
