A four-mile road loop from Tolgus Mount out through Illogan, Higher Broad Lane and Barncoose Terrace, returning along the A3047. Start and finish are at Tricky's in Redruth, which doubles as race HQ. There are no water stations on the course.

The Summer Turkey Trot is a 4 mile road race starting at Tricky's Hotel, Bar and Restaurant near Redruth in Cornwall, organised by Cornwall Athletic Club as Round 8 in the Cornwall Grand Prix Series. Now past its 50th running (counting both its Summer and Winter races), it is a historic and much-loved fixture.
