Course
Starts and finishes at the gazebo at the south end of Sunset Bay State Park on the Oregon coast. The route climbs steep wooded hills and opens onto a flat clifftop stretch above the sea, run almost entirely on trail with short unavoidable road links. A single aid station at Cape Arago near 6.5 miles carries water, electrolyte, gels and snacks; the 15K passes it twice and the half marathon three times.
