tBunk Endurance Challenge November 6th-8th, 2026

Course

Repeated laps of the Blue Loop on the Nordic trail system in the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest, north of LaGrange in southeast Wisconsin. The start/finish has a manned aid station and shelter building, with a second unmanned station about halfway round the loop. Distances run from a 15K fun run up to 200 miles.

About

This event is named in honor of Tom Bunk, who was a mentor to so many of us. Tom went far beyond being a role model for ultra-runners, showing everyone he encountered the right way to live life. All proceeds from this event will be used for projects in the Kettle Moraine State Forest; the first one was a permanent year-round shelter at the Scuppernong trailhead, now complete and in use!
