Course

Start and finish at the Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Road, Corolla. A bicycle lead, course marshals and turn arrows mark the route, with one water stop at the halfway point. A one-mile option and a quarter-mile fun run for children ten and under are run alongside the 5K.

The Outer Banks Thanksgiving Day 5K is a community race held each Thanksgiving morning in Corolla, North Carolina. Runners, walkers, wheelchair users and stroller participants are all welcome, and the organisers collect canned goods for the local food bank on the day.
