Course
A 2.5-mile grass loop on the cross country course and soccer fields at 3350 E Gans Road, Columbia. Runners repeat the loop for their chosen time band. The start/finish is the only aid station, stocked with water, Tailwind and ultra food, and the event is cupless so runners carry their own containers.

The 24 Hour Lions Roar is a 6/12/24 hour race, with a newly added 24 Hour Tag Team Championship event, that is run on a 2.5 mile loop course that includes the D1 NCAA Cross Country Championship Course at Gans Creek Recreation Area in Columbia, MO. A portion of all proceeds from the event goes to Pascale's Pals, a local volunteer organization that benefits the children and families staying at the Children's Hospital in Columbia, MO . A runner friendly course that can challenge runners of all levels. If you enjoy running events where like minded people come together in a high energy atmosphere then you will want to work this into your calendar.
