The Bay 50 follows the St. Margaret's Bay Trail, part of Nova Scotia's coastal Rum Runners Trail rail-trail near Halifax. The 25K and 50K distances trace the shoreline of St. Margaret's Bay on a former rail line turned multi-use trail.
