A timed race on a repeated 1.5-mile loop of The Good Earth Farm, running past vegetable fields, across pastures and onto a gravel road. Underfoot is a little gravel, a lot of mown grass and some dirt, with a bridge over the creek. The prairie setting has very little tree cover.

The Blood Run is a timed race on a 1.5-mile loop at The Good Earth Farm, with 3, 6, 12, 24 and 36 hour options. Runners who complete 100 miles in the 24 or 36 hour events earn a buckle. It's a grassroots event without corporate sponsors, built around having fun and testing yourself.
