Course
A lapped elimination-format event starting and finishing at the Gold Coast Cycle Centre criterium track, Hope Street, Nerang. Laps run on the bitumen circuit in varying configurations - clockwise, anti-clockwise, a figure of 6 and a hilly figure 8. Entrants are guaranteed 10.5km if they meet the 15min per 1.5km lap requirement, building toward roughly 50km.

The Cut Ultra is a lapped elimination event run on the bitumen criterium track at the Gold Coast Cycle Centre in Nerang. Runners complete laps in varying configurations and must hold a 15min per 1.5km pace to stay in, with the field capped at 180 and cut-offs progressively reducing it. Distances build from a guaranteed 10.5km toward about 50km.
