About

Dam to DSM, now past its 46th running, is Iowa's summer-kickoff running tradition: a point-to-point journey from the Saylorville Dam to downtown Des Moines. Buses carry runners to the start, and the course covers some of the most memorable rural and urban miles in the state before cold beer awaits at the finish.
