Course
Forest trail racing on a mix of dirt, sand and gravel — fire roads, two-track and single-track — with more than 85% of every route off pavement. Runners head out of town on an opening 5K stretch; the 15-mile adds an 8.8-mile loop, while the 45K and 50-mile take a 21.9-mile loop once and twice respectively. The Powerlines section brings sustained hills on soft ground.

The Hungerford Games is a series of excessively incredible trail races that take place in the scenic surroundings of Hungerford Recreation Area in the Manistee National Forest. There's a 15-Mile race, as well as a 45K mini-utra and a 50-mile ultra. The event has a very cool small-race vibe, a uniquely arboreal feel, and delightful fall scenery!
