Course

Starts and finishes at Queen Margaret University on the eastern edge of Edinburgh. The route is fully marked and marshalled with water stations at roughly 5.5 and 9.5 miles, and the field is capped at 500 runners.

The Innocent Half Marathon offers runners a perfect mid-training challenge along scenic Edinburgh routes. The course traverses cycle paths and quiet roads, including the historic Innocent Railway, passing under Arthur's Seat with a relatively flat profile. Participants can enjoy a well-marked route while supporting three Scottish children's charities.
