Course

Road marathon and half run point-to-point into Graaff-Reinet, both finishing at the Botanics Sports Club. The 42.2km starts about 40km out on the R63 towards Murraysburg and the 21.1km at the Dassiesfontein turnoff some 20km away. A 10km road route and a 16km trail run both start and finish at the Botanics. Water stations are set along the routes.

A marathon through Graaff-Reinet, a Cape Dutch-era Eastern Cape Karoo town with one of South Africa's largest concentrations of national monuments. The Camdeboo mountains and Valley of Desolation surround the town.
