About

TO50 is a self-supported 50 km ultramarathon through the streets of Toronto, run by Deep Water Races. It is unsanctioned and grassroots: a planned route sent as a GPX file, a start time, one staffed aid station near halfway with carbs and water, and a 12-hour cutoff that leaves room to walk the whole thing. There is no entry fee, only a commitment deposit returned in cash at the line to everyone who finishes inside the cutoff. A 50-mile option runs on the same day with a 14-hour cutoff. The inaugural 2026 edition sold out its 50 places with 127 runners on the waitlist.
