Out-and-back on certified, flat courses through Shelby Park and the paved Shelby Bottoms Greenway. Both the half marathon and the 5K start and finish at Cornelia Fort Airpark in Nashville. The combined field is capped at 600 runners because of limited parking.

The Tom King Classic is an annual running event featuring a Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk starting and finishing at Cornelia Fort Airpark.
