The Trail des Sapins is now past its 9th running, held in the village of Lalouvesc in the Ardèche. The race starts in late afternoon, so runners cover part of the course in daylight and part after dark, with a themed atmosphere along the way. A hearty Ardèche meal awaits finishers at the end.
