Trail Du Pays Welche

Course

A mountain trail from Orbey in the Pays Welche, Alsace, taking in the Vosges ridges. The going is varied: footpaths, rocky and soft trails through bilberry and fern, moorland and forest, with wide ridge-top views. Three timed courses carry UTMB Index and ITRA status, alongside La Marche du Faude for walkers.

Trail du Pays Welche runs from Orbey, near the Lac Blanc ski resort in the Vosges, through the Pays Welche — a French-speaking pocket of Alsace with its own dialect. Distances range from 10K to 50K.
