The Trail Frison-Roche takes place in Arêches-Beaufort in Savoie, named after mountaineer and writer Roger Frison-Roche. Runners cross the Beaufortain massif on courses of 7km, 17km and 42km, climbing through alpine pastures below the surrounding peaks.
