Transvulcania is a legendary 73km ultramarathon across the volcanic island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, climbing from the Fuencaliente lighthouse along the Ruta de los Volcanes to the 2,426m summit of Roque de los Muchachos. The May race weekend also includes a half marathon and vertical kilometre.
