An out-and-back through the Box Creek Wilderness at Union Mills, North Carolina. The 10K runs alongside the Second Broad River and the CSX railroad line and around the base of Rocky Face Mountain before returning; the 5K follows the same route but turns back sooner. Both start at 10am.

The Union Mills Learning Center presents the Union Mills Wilderness 5K & 10K, now past its fifth running, in Bostic, North Carolina.
