Course
Loop-format trail races in Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Courses begin on crushed limestone across open meadow, then climb singletrack toward Cheyenne Mountain. After descending the Talon Trail, runners cross technical rocky paths through pine in the lower park. Aid stations are placed on course, with start and finish at the park.

The Valkyrie Trail Race is a women-focused trail event in Cheyenne Mountain State Park at Colorado Springs. Distances run from four miles up to 50K on singletrack and crushed limestone, with loops climbing toward Cheyenne Mountain before descending through the lower park.
