Course
A 5000m track race held at the Bill Jacob Athletics Track in Wagga Wagga — 12.5 laps of the outdoor synthetic track, starting and finishing in the same place. Runners are seeded into eleven pace-group waves from sub-17 minutes through to 45–55 minutes, with racing running from mid-afternoon into the evening.
