Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run

Course

The run starts at 8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, by 86th Terrace on the east side of the Ward Parkway Center. Alongside the 5K and 10K there is a one-mile walk, a downhill mile run setting off at 8:30am, and a Tiny Turkey Trot for children twelve and under. Course maps for each distance are published on Garmin.

About

The Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run is an annual event featuring a 5K, 10K, Downhill Mile, Mile Walk, and Tiny Turkey Trot for kids 12 and under. All participants receive a long-sleeve thermal shirt and a 6" Tippin's pie as their finisher medal.
