Looped trails through Weymouth Woods-Sandhills Nature Preserve, rooty and sandy underfoot beneath a canopy of long-leaf pine. Start and finish on North Fort Bragg Road, Southern Pines, with a well-stocked aid station there. Cupless event, so runners carry their own bottle.
