Zoom Angel Island

Course

Run entirely on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay, reached by chartered ferry from the Main Street dock in Tiburon. Start and finish are at Ayala Cove. The 5 mile covers the orange summit loop; the 10 mile adds the yellow middle loop first; the 15 mile takes the pink perimeter loop, then the middle, then the summit. Mostly singletrack with some asphalt, 810ft of climb over 5 miles rising to 1,840ft over 15.

Angel Island is a hilly, grass- and forest-covered island that provides spectacular views of Marin County, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate. Trails and roads circle the entire island and climb Mount Livermore. Bring the whole family and enjoy a post-run picnic at beautiful Ayala Cove.
