Course

A flat out-and-back along the Ahuriri waterfront in Napier, starting and finishing at the same point with the sea alongside for most of the way. The 10km covers one 10.55km out-and-back leg and the half marathon runs it twice. Aid stations sit at 5km, 10.5km and 16km.

The Ahuriri Half Marathon on 11 October 2026 takes runners through some of Hawke's Bay's most stunning scenery. Based from Perfume Point on the historic Ahuriri waterfront, the flat, scenic out-and-back course runs along the coast and return.
