Course
The half marathon runs through the heart of Old Town Alexandria and then out and back along the George Washington Parkway beside the Potomac. The 5K stays within Old Town. Both start at 7:00am, with a kids dash later at Waterfront Park.

The Alexandria Half traces its roots to the 1984 Parkway Classic and now runs a half marathon and 5K through Old Town Alexandria, starting near City Hall on King Street. The route passes historic rowhouses before finishing near North Union Street by the Potomac waterfront.
