A 6.71km loop starting and finishing at Butler Green in Arrowtown, run once every hour on the hour until one runner remains. The loop follows the Arrow River Trail, described as predominantly hard-packed trail plus a winding single track through the bush. Runners cross Bush Creek twice and use two pedestrian bridges over the Arrow River.
