Course

Starts at 09:10 in Piazza Grande, Locarno and runs along the Lake Maggiore shoreline between Locarno and Ascona on paved lakeside roads and promenades. The 21 km course is measured and approved by Swiss Athletics with international homologation. A 10 km run, a 10 km walking and Nordic walking event, a 5 km sunset run and a KidsRun share the weekend.

The Ascona-Locarno Run is a road race weekend on the Swiss shore of Lake Maggiore. The half marathon starts from Piazza Grande in Locarno and follows the lakeside between Locarno and Ascona on a course measured by Swiss Athletics. A 10km run, a 10km walking event, a 5km sunset run and a KidsRun complete the programme.
