Course
Starts at Largo Franco Zorzi in Locarno. The 42K and 24K open with a flat tarmac stretch through the town and the Piazza Grande before climbing onto non-technical single-track below the treeline, with long runnable descents. The 42K gains 2,497 m and the 24K 1,250 m. Aid stations fall roughly every 10 to 15 km. The 2 km kids race is a tarmac out-and-back through the Piazza Grande.
