Course
The course runs on rural gravel and level B roads through the Bridges of Madison County and the surrounding Iowa countryside. The organiser describes thousands of feet of elevation gain over seemingly endless hills, with the level B sections turning difficult in wet conditions. Solo 10K, 50K, 100K and 100-mile distances share the same route.
