Well-maintained trails through Colt Creek State Park near Lakeland, Florida, winding among tall pines, dense forest and lakeshore with occasional creek crossings. Terrain is largely flat: about 104 feet of climb for the 5K rising to 330 feet for the half marathon. Aid stations sit every 2.5 miles on the longer distances.
