Course
A fast, flat out-and-back of 1.1 miles each way from La Llorona Park on Picacho Avenue in Las Cruces, paved with a crushed gravel lane alongside. Runners cover six laps for the half marathon and twelve for the full. The course is USATF-certified and a Boston qualifier, and aid stations carry a wide spread of food and drink.

The Day of the Dead Series is a two-day race weekend near Las Cruces, New Mexico, at Prehistoric Trackways National Monument, where runners choose from 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon distances each day, with back-to-back finishers logging up to 50K.
