Course
A mountain course at Red River, New Mexico, mixing singletrack, dirt road and short highway sections. The marathon starts and finishes in town, climbing the old stage road to a seven-mile loop on the Enchanted Forest ski trails and up The Face, a steep quarter-mile trailless ski slope. The half descends from the ski area to finish in town, some 800ft lower than its start.
