Frozen Toe 10K

Course

A loop starting and finishing at New Hope Christian Church. Runners head down to Welcome Valley Road to a turnaround, then onto the Chestnut Ridge Loop Trail, a 5.6-mile challenging single track described as fast and flowy, before returning along Welcome Valley Road to the church.

The Frozen Toe 10K is a January trail race in the mountains around Roanoke, Virginia, hosted by Mountain Junkies, a local trail-running and mountain-biking club. Expect cold temperatures and often icy or muddy footing on the Roanoke Valley trails.
